Baptist Health System (AL)- Claims and Loss Control Baptist Health System, Inc., one of the largest health care systems in Alabama and one of the state's largest employers, is a not-for-profit, 501(c) corporation that owns and manages four hospitals in the state of Alabama, employing over 4,300 staff members. BHS was founded in Birmingham in 1922 by a group of Baptist congregations.
Richard & Vicki Hammer Scholarship Program
The application process has recently ended for the 2010/11 Richard and Vicki Hammer Scholarship Program. Dick and Vicki designed this program to assist the children of Brentwood Services staff members with college expenses, and to recognize and reward those children for their academic and extracurricular achievements. The scholarships may be applied to accredited, non-profit colleges and universities throughout the country. Winners will be announced in the middle of May. Please see the Human Resources department if you have any further questions about the program.
